How long should it be?

We generally ask for editorial pieces to be 100-600 words. This is to give enough detail but not too long to lose the reader’s attention.

What should I include?

To give you an idea of how to write your piece, we would like all editorial to include: A headline, a 30-word introduction and a link to your organization as well as the main body of text.

Can I include photos?

At Georgian Sports News, we love a photo. So much so we want all content to come with a photo if it is possible. A quick snap of the winning team celebrating is perfect, and photos from smartphones to professional photography will be accepted. However, we do ask that you get editorial permission from whoever is in the picture.

Our editorial team works hard to make sure the best possible content gets to our readers, so we make sure to read over and edit all our stories that get published. By sending us the article, you permit us to edit the piece and redistribute to other establishments for further publication.
