Collingwood Blues look forward to start of the OJHL season
The Collingwood Blues will start their OJHL regular season on October 1st when they host Pickering at the Eddie Bush Arena.
Collingwood will also play host the OJHL All-Star Celebration weekend, which will take place on January 14-15th.
The OJHL’s 2020-21 regular season and all but the first round of the league’s 2020 Buckland Cup playoffs were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The league will return to a full regular season schedule, with each team playing 54 games, including two games at the Governors’ Showcase. The regular season ends March 5th. The top four teams in each division will make the playoffs. Collingwood will compete in the North Division alongside Stouffville, Markham, Aurora and Pickering.
The OJHL has also announced that members must be double-vaccinated against COVID-19 before the commencement of team activities associated with the beginning of the 2021/2022 season.
The policy applies to all players, coaches, trainers, team and league staff, officials, volunteers and billet families.
